Sporting teams raise money to help support the UK’s leading charity for homeless young people
August at ludlowthompson has been full of fundraising for the company’s favourite charity, Centrepoint. Centrepoint is the UK's leading charity for homeless young people, supporting 16-25 years olds with housing, learning, health and life skills.
Last weekend, a team of keen cyclists from ludlowthompson, took part in the Prudential Ride London on 9th and 10th August.
The ride stretches through central London and is an opportunity for amateur cyclists to cycle alongside top competitive cyclists while raising money for charity.
Stephen Ludlow, Chairman of ludlowthompson, commented: “It is great to see so many ludlowthompson people taking part and we need lots of support to reach their sponsorship goal. The team has previously supported Centrepoint through the British 10k as part of our ongoing support of this great charity that helps so many young people."
Recently a second ludlowthompson team from Worcester raised money through a day of sponsored fancy dress. With everyone dressed as their favourite superheroes they raised £1,350 topped up by funds achieved from the company also taking part in Race the Dragon on the River Severn earlier in the summer.
