ludlowthompson helping to make south Lambeth neighbourhoods blossom

We’ve brought a splash of summer colour to The Oval by sponsoring local flowerbeds
The streets of south Lambeth are in full bloom, thanks in part to a gorgeous array of flowers planted in the beds at Fentimen Road SW8, sponsored by ludlowthompson – once again donating funds for seasonal planting. This is an initiative we have supported in the neighbouring roads for some time.
This is the second time we have sponsored the flower beds and, as the capital basks in the summer sun (at the time of writing at least!), this is the perfect moment to enjoy seasonal favourites.

The initiative follows the recent celebration of British Flowers Week at the nearby Garden Museum, where six specially commissioned floral designs from some of the country's most exciting florists were recently on display.
Brightening up the streets of Lambeth like this is all part of our commitment to making everyday life better for Londoners through a range of local initiatives. This includes participating in community outreach with young adults with learning disabilities to supporting a children’s literacy charity.
Stephen Ludlow, Chairman at ludlowthompson, says: “We’re always looking for ways to help make a difference to our local communities around London, and this beautiful flower display seemed a lovely way to support our blossoming neighbourhood."
Sally Warren, secretary of the local residents association, says: "The very generous donation from ludlowthompson allowed us to buy plants to put in our street planters, making our street look so much prettier and greener. We are also hoping to buy a small tree next which will help fight air pollution as well as providing shade and extra prettiness!"
