ludlowthompson staff contribute to Centrepoint and take part in a London Sleep Out
This year, ludlowthompson has raised close to £29,000 towards ending youth homelessness and has reinforced its commitment in helping the prominent charity Centrepoint.
As the UK’s leading charity for youth homelessness, Centrepoint supports 16-25 year olds by providing housing, education, and education in important life skills.
Over the past year, ludlowthompson staff have participated in numerous campaigns designed to help raise awareness of homeless young people, including Centrepoint’s Sleep Out events where participants sleep rough for a night.
In November, ludlowthompson had a team of 15 staff members in London take part in a Sleep Out event, raising close to £9,000, and early this month staff also participated in a Sleep Out in Worcester.
ludlowthompson also raised money towards Centrepoint's running events including the London Marathon and the British 10K, where ludlowthompson had a team of 10 people participating.
Stephen Ludlow, Chairman at ludlowthompson, comments: "Homelessness in London is a hugely important issue, especially at this time of the year, and anyone unfortunate to find themselves in this situation is very much at the forefront of everyone's thinking.
“Fundraising for such a important cause is close to the hearts of our employees and to date we have raised close to £150,000. Over the past year our staff have participated in a wide variety of events, from rowing in boat races and sleeping rough for a night to holding a summer barbecue, and we'll continue to strive for more ways to raise donations.
“I continue to be humbled by our staff's amazing fundraising work for Centrepoint and the worthwhile causes they support."
