ludlowthompson staff raise money from 10km run, football tournament and staff sleep-out.
Centrepoint is a charity which provides a range of accommodation and additional support in health, education and life skills for homeless Londoners between 16 and 25 years of age.
In July, ludlowthompson raised £3,000 when 15 staff members ran a 10k race for Centrepoint, with one member of staff raising £500 alone. Most recently, in November, 21 members of staff braved the freezing cold conditions and slept rough overnight to raise £1,500 for the charity.
In addition to this, thousands of pounds were raised through business donations.
ludlowthompson has been devoted to the Centrepoint charity for several years, and have raised money in the past by holding a range of activities, such as football tournaments and a “dress-down Friday."
Stephen Ludlow, Chairman at ludlowthompson, says: “2013 has been another great year for ludlowthompson’s fundraising efforts, and we are proud to have raised thousands of pounds for such a great charity.
“Centrepoint does a fantastic job by raising awareness of the tough lives these young people have, and providing them with support and guidance to help them get out of the unfortunate situation they are in.”
Stephen adds: “We will continue to do our bit to support Centrepoint in 2014 and look forward beating the total amount we have raised this year.”
