ludlowthompson Sponsors Local Events for King Charles III Coronation Celebrations
Over the coronation weekend, ludlowthompson joined the local community in celebrating the coronation of King Charles III by sponsoring the Brixton Chamber Orchestra Coronation Carnival. The orchestra provided free music to community celebrations all over Brixton, visiting nine street parties and carrying out four parades, entertaining over 3,000 people.
We are also proud to have sponsored the Claylands Green coronation party and the Meadow Road street party on Sunday, May 7th, where communities in Oval came together and enjoyed BBQs, cakes, children's games and homecooked meals in a safe environment, thanks to our road closure signs. The events brought neighbours together to share in the excitement and joy of this momentous occasion.
The celebrations were a true testament to the British spirit, with bunting adorning the streets and balloons in red, white, and blue adding to the festive atmosphere. Ludlow Thompson was thrilled to support these events and to see the community come together to celebrate King Charles' coronation in style.
As a company, ludlowthompson is committed to giving back to the communities we serve and supporting events that bring people together. We look forward to partnering with other organizations in the future to create and support more local events for everyone to enjoy.
Stephen Ludlow, Chairman at ludlowthompson, said: “The Coronation Ceremony and extended Bank holiday weekend provided a fitting backdrop for Londoners to celebrate the crowning of King Charles and Queen Camilla.
"The participation in the service at Westminster Abbey by such a broad range of community representatives and faiths put diversity at the heart of the historic event, which is true reflection of our vibrant capital city."
"This theme expanded out across London neighbourhoods with an extensive and inclusive programme of celebrations.
For our part, we are always delighted to see local communities come together to celebrate and are keen to do whatever we can to help them in their efforts to do this."
"Events such as these can strengthen the bond of local communities, which is a very valuable selling point for any prospective buyer. Community events are just another reason why London is such a rewarding place to live.”
