My landlord keeps popping around - is there anything I can do to stop this happening?
A good place to start would be talking to the Landlord to explain that you feel their popping round is excessive and you are not able to enjoy the property with the intrusion. Landlords may need access to the property to inspect it and do repairs, however under common law, all landlords must allow their tenants ‘’quiet enjoyment’’ of the property, meaning they must let you live in your home without unnecessary interference.
Perhaps the landlord hadn’t realised they were not always welcome perhaps they think you are comforted knowing they are taking an active interest in the property you rent from them.
If your right to quiet enjoyment is substantially interfered with a tenant may claim damages or possibly an injunction to stop the interference.
