Dulwich Festival celebrates the best of local talent

The return of sunny days marks the start of festival season across London and the UK. Dulwich Festival, which celebrates the best of local talent, marked its 29th anniversary in May.

Dulwich Festival took place from 13th to 22nd May this year and hosted many great events, including a youth concert, garden exhibition and picture gallery. This was the first year the event was held in person after switching to online events during the pandemic.

For the sixth year in a row, ludlowthompson sponsored the festival, supporting the youth concert and picture gallery as gold sponsors. We were also part of the Artists Open House Event, in which we showcased our urban garden with living wall art, located just beside Lordship Lane.   

Events such as these highlight the breadth of talent across many great communities across the capital. Dulwich Festival is supported by contributions from excellent local schools, which are a key reason why the area is so popular amongst professionals and their families.

As well as holding the festival on an annual basis, Dulwich is renowned for its independent shops and bars, large green spaces and entertainment, making it a good option for both families and young professionals. Lordship Lane, for example, is home to East Dulwich Picturehouse and many top-class restaurants.
