Do you believe in ghosts? Have you ever stayed in a house thought to be haunted? It might not be the exciting experience you imagine.
The experience of millionaire businessman, Anwar Rashid, was anything but fun. Mr Rashid bought Clifton Hall in Nottinghamshire in 2007 for £3.6m and moved his family in.
However during the eight months they lived there his family were subjected to the appearance of mysterious unexplainable figures and bloodstains were found on his baby's bedclothes.
Mr Rashid, who made his millions through a chain of nursing homes and a hotel in Dubai, owns 26 properties in all, has now handed the keys back to the Yorkshire Bank as he feels unable to continue living there.
Mr Rashid says: "I feel for its beauty but behind the facade it is haunted...the ghosts didn't want us to be there and we could not fight them because we couldn't see them."
He continued: "When we found red blood spots on teh baby's quilt, that was the day my wife said she'd had enough. We didn't even stay that night.
"When people used to tel me about ghosts I would never believe them and would say 'whatever'. But I would have to tell any new owner that it was haunted having experienced it."
The Yorkshire Bank has the keys if anyone would like to share with the ghosts.
