House-Share Rentals: The More the Merrier

- Renting Property News
Scarcer property to rent means house sharing makes sense.
With a record number of people searching for places to rent rather than buy, the number of single occupancy properties available has decreased significantly. Many young professionals are on the look-out for house-sharers as it keeps utility costs down and can make living in a desireable area far more affordable.
There are other benefits too. A large proportion of rented properties now offer ensuite or multiple bathrooms, so there is no longer the worry of having to fight for the shower in the morning. A number of places also have more than one communal living space so you won't have to feel like you are living on top of each other or wrestle over the television controller.
In fact, house-sharing has become quite fashionable. Trends show that young professionals are keen to fly the nest earlier and that on average people are taking longer to settle down or move in with their partners, preferring instead to focus on their careers.
