- Crazy but True Stories
Many chaps create a potting shed as a private area where they can get away from the house and family. Clayton Smith of Bromley has gone one further.
Clayton Smith clearly lights up when he tells reporters from the Sun what's in his garden shed: He told The Sun: "Coral is an incredible 'pet'. Some people like soft corals, which are wavy, and others the big and fleshy large polyp stone corals."However, first-time farmers really like the ones which glow in the dark - they've got the 'wow' factor."
Mr Smith, who lives in Bromley has been growing the corals for ten years. He looks after more than 120 types of corals housed in 5ft by 2ft tanks at the bottom of his garden creating his own equatic heaven: a mini Great Barrier Reef!
